Auditions are OPEN. However a reservation, for one of the evenings, must be made in advance with and confirmed by the Assistant Producer no later than October 11, 2018
Scheduled after casting. Usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings & Sunday afternoon but subject to change after casting, if required. Actors may not be called for all rehearsals.
Mandatory: January 13, 20, 21, 2019. Technical rehearsals commence on January 6th, so there will be other required rehearsals during the week of January 6th & 13th (TBD). All cast/crew must attend technical rehearsals.

A darkly funny portrait of a family in crisis focusing on the effects of Alzheimer’s. The play is seen through and narrated by Iris, as she tries to hold it together after the family is told by Bernice, the mother, that she has Alzheimer’s.
The siblings Peter, Iris, and Sarah are in their early 20’s to early thirties. The mother is ”59”.
Iris: A rock, trying to be calm in the storm, down to earth, dry humor. The middle sibling.
Sarah: Mothering over the top, heart on her sleeve. The oldest sister.
Peter: Taciturn uncomfortable, conflict avoidance. The youngest sibling.
Bernice: The mother. Charismatic, lively and organized, recently widowed. She has pride in her independence.

There is a $20.00 deposit refundable upon return, in good condition, of the script.
NOTES: Scripts are loaned for a set period of time and must be returned on time.
Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
An audition spot must be reserved with and confirmed by the Assistant Producer no later than October 11th. Showing up without an audition reservation could result in you not being seen.
The Curtain Club is an award-winning community theatre celebrating 65 years of bringing quality theatre to the town of Richmond Hill and participates in Theatre Ontario. The Curtain Club is a non-profit, non-equity community theatre group. If you are cast in this show you MUST become a member of the club. Membership fees are $10.00 and are due no later than the first rehearsal.
