Steve Marsh is a mystery writer and after his third novel is published, his wife receives a series of phone calls and letters that threaten to destroy their marriage. Adultery, blackmail, murder, a figure lurking in the rain – all elements of Marsh’s fiction become part of his life in this riveting thriller. The action takes place in an oak paneled house in an affluent, mid-Toronto location.

Characters:
- Steve Marsh Early 40’s – youthful, mystery writer.
- Pam Marsh Mid 30’s – elegant, tasteful. Their wealth comes from her family.
- Chris Dodd Mid 20’s – female, attractive.
- Jane Talbot Mid 30’s – Pam’s lawyer.
- Tony Bishop Late 20’s – athletic, energetic service station attendant/would-be writer.
- Gemma Dodd Late 20’s – Chris’ sister.
- Note, ages are flexible but there should be a sense that Steve, Pam and Jane are of one age group, and Tony and the Dodds are of a younger age group.
Audition Requirements:
There will be readings from the script – please be familiar with the play. Scripts available through the producer. There is a $20 deposit which is returned at the audition provided the script is returned in good condition.

Rehearsals (tentative):
- Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7:00 – 10 pm.
- Sunday afternoons, 2:00 – 6:00 pm.
- Beginning Sunday, January 5.
- Tech runs will start March 16.
